Journal Oversight Committee
The Journal Oversight Committee (JOC) is responsible for ensuring quality and efficiency, maintaining editorial independence and accountability, promoting openness and transparency, fostering diversity and inclusion, and driving innovation and sustainability. The JOC accomplishes its mission through various actions, including setting the editorial policy, appointing the editor-in-chief, monitoring performance, and offering ad hoc guidance and support to the Editorial Team. The committee is composed of two members from The Society of Metabolic Health Practitioners (The SMHPTM), two representatives from AOSIS, and one ex-officio member – the editor-in-chief.
